|Soft Italian Pretzels
1 package quick rise yeast
1 ½ cups warm water
4 cups flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Non-stick cooking spray
¼ cup milk
Preheat oven to 425° . Pour warm water in a large mixing bowl, and add yeast to dissolve. Mix in next 4 ingredients. Knead mixture on a lightly floured surface for 20 seconds.
Divide dough into 18 balls, and roll into long logs. Shape them into pretzels and place on a sprayed cookie sheet. Brush tops with milk, and sprinkle lightly with sea salt. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
