Why Am I Gaining Belly Fat All Of A Sudden

Question: Hi, I'm a 58 yr old women, I started working out about year and a half ago. I lost weight rapidly, and was starting to build muscle. I enjoy the gym and spend about 1 1/2 hours 6 days a week there. I lost about 50 lbs and went down to about 135. Now all of a sudden I'm putting on fat especially around the middle, I'm trying to eat more protein and carbs, but I'm really not seeing a difference. Do you know why this might be happening? Thank you for any help you can provide.

Answer: If you want to lose weight or keep fat gain down, you would not want to increase your carbohydrate intake it can increase insulin which can cause gain of fat especially around the belly.
