Difference Between Warmup and Stretching

Question: What is the difference between a warm-up and stretching? Tee

Answer: Tee, A warm-up is slowly getting your heart rate going and heating up your muscle tissues by, for example, walking before running. You can also warm up before weight training by walking on a treadmill (or any other cardiovascular activity) for 5-10 minutes, which reduces the chances of injuring a muscle. It also makes the actual "work" of the workout more comfortable. Stretching is the act of lengthening a warmed-up muscle and holding it in that position for 20 seconds, in order to elongate the muscle and keep the body limber. Never stretch a cold muscle. Always warm it up.
