Hardly Eating but Not Losing Weight

Question: I have been trying to diet lately and it hasn't worked. I hardly eat anything all day, and then around 3 or 4 I eat something, or maybe even later. I was wondering if I'm doing it wrong, I don't seem to be losing any weight. Should I eat more? What should I do? help

Answer: Dear help, I'm stunned at how often I come across people that think starving themselves will result in weight loss. When you don't eat, you're teaching your body to survive on fewer calories, which is the opposite of what you should be doing. Food is used by your body for energy -- it's like trying to drive your car without any gas. It won't work. So you need at least three meals per day, starting off with the most important meal -- breakfast.
