Treadmill Workouts for Weight Loss and Toning

Question: Love your site. I am doing 5 nights a week on my treadmill for 40 minutes and starting at 0% incline and every 2 minutes moving up 3% all the way to 9% then back down (0-3-6-9-6-3-6-9....). Is this program alone sufficient for weight loss and toning?

Answer: That's a good cardiovascular workout. You will probably be seeing the results you want from that soon, especially if you're consistently exercising and eating healthfully. Stick with it! Note: for better toning add in some strength training two to three times a week.
